Fantastic blog - warming up the lips for Glasto.

- Good stuff big man. Circs
dictate that we'll have to
rehearse on our own time
before the big day. What
are the chances of
meeting up on, say, the
Friday? Can you get time
off? Also, can I post your
paranoid Derren Dreams to
the Page of Dunney's
Ramblings? They'd go
prefectly there.

Mar 31, 2008 The Re-entrants
Yay, ukuleles. We do 'ever fallen in love' and 'crazy', too. www.thereentrants.co.uk

- Hmm. Shameless plug
tolerated I guess. Don't
get the name though.
There Entrants?

Mar 21, 2008 sweet-ay
Sorry, but what is mariburjeka?
Jane.

- Erm. Not really sure Jane.
Anyone got any ideas?

- Translates to 'awesome stuff,
do you want a contract?'

From beyond the grace (well, a place called Martock) hello. After my spell in Rehab following the success of the debut album I really want to get back to my roots. I'm currently playing with www.groove-a-licious.co.uk but quite frankly it's not the same. And I miss the dainty strum on the uke. I'm ready: but are the people ready? ::::I think we can release a Christmas single - Feed the World. Before I jet off to do just that.

- Well, clearly that didn't
happen. No matter though,
big things in the pipeline.

Feb 12, 2007 siri

May 7, 2006 Christopher

May 6, 2006 Andy's dad
I really like Crazy and your forthcoming numbers sound impressive. When are you going to produce an album?

- Soon. Soooooooooooon.

Mar 22, 2006 Ondy
Good evening - send some uke recordings down south mate. If you could record me a Baker Street, Madness Must be Love and maybe Hawaii 5-0, I'd be grateful. Missing you all.

- Will do mate. Been
experimenting with plugging
the uke straight in - sounds
okay, but I'll do some with
the mic and e-mail them to
you. Catch you later fella.

Mar 21, 2006 Kenny
Did I tell you about Fear and Loahing in Leamington? If not, that's mad because I had the same thought! Crazy minds think alike. Just wait until next time when I describe GTA Leamington in excruciating detail... Mwhahahaha!!!!

- Having the same thoughts
as Kenny. Time to see the
head doctor I think.

Mar 14, 2006 mama dunne
What are you doing? With the end of term I was expecting more blogs and more music!!!!

- Sorry Mrs Dunne. We're
heading to the centre
tonight, it'll be productive,
we promise.

Mar 11, 2006 Siri
Careful what you wish for ben. If you're Keira, you may end up with J Bizzle as Tom Ford, nuzzling your neck...

- Truly a terrifying
prospect.

Mar 10, 2006 Lola
Hello lovelies,::I'm all Booshed up and realised I am still to comment on your site. Obviously I love it! To make it slightly more interesting- although the music is more than enough- could you link it to animation sites or something- a bit more visual stimulation maybe. For songs my mind has gone blank but will ponder it. Ooh and remember to advertise the gig you are going to do alongside the comedy troop thing. Un besito, Lola x

- Visuals, interesting
idea. There are some
wicked pictures still to
go up, I'll get on that
as a start.

Mar 8, 2006 J Bizzle
When do I get to take arty black and white photographs of you guys? I tried taking ones of Andy when he was sleeping but he just woke up and broke my nose... I'm thinking, arty, vanity fair, a few choice objects around to symbolise your passions (Ben: Can of stella, Andy: Say NO to drugs T-shirt). What do you think guys?

- Me and Andy in this pose?
Only if he's Scarlett and I'm
Keira....

Mar 5, 2006 Siri's Dad
Nice site. It works really well and is good to look at. Please promote a rolicking, bittersweet "Good Night Irene" and a majestic, soulful "Albatross" to the head of your re-ification list. [Can Xaphoon and ukelele possibly *do* majestic?]

- We hadn't heard of either
of those, Siri had to explain.

Mar 4, 2006 Kenny
Far too many yesternight, far far too many in one night, you were right, no more for this man, this charming man by the smiths please

- Intriguing.

Mar 3, 2006 Kenny
Yo Ben,::::Cheers for the pancakes mate, awesome stuff. Have loads of requests, would love to hear any one of these that takes your pick. Apologies Andy but your lungs might just explode! Some of these very complex and probably cant be done at all with a uke and xaphoon, plus might sound a bit repetitive without vocals but how about:::::Iggy Pop- The Passenger::::The Cure- Friday I’m In Love::::The Police- Every Breath You Take::::Simon & Garfunkel- The Sound of Silence ::::Pulp- Disco 2000::::Pixies- Where Is My Mind?::::Mamas and the Papas- California Dreaming::::Greenday- Good Riddance::::The La’s- There She Goes::::Jane’s Addiction- Jane Says::::[comedy value!] Motorhead- Ace of Spades ::::Steppenwolf- Born To Be Wild ::::Keep up the good work lads,::::Kenny::::PS oh and can any songs by the Smiths be done do you think?::

- No more drugs for
this man please.

Mar 2, 2006 Mama Dunne
Thursday night and as the band play away I have time to wander through your web site. A few questions. Do Cathy & Jim know they are on?? What was Chris Jordan doing ? Who is Kate? Finally thank you .. I meant to buy the Western gazette as I normally do on a Thurs night but this has been much more enjoyable.. & bon weekend.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Mar 2, 2006 Ashwiny
Hell i don't know what to say, really had no idea such talent was on the same course as me, or breathing the same air. It's great guys! You make me want to play too! Bonne continuation, AMEN

- Thanks Ash. We've
gone all red now.

Mar 2, 2006  Spell Checker (Helene Duclaud Williams)
You spell raison d'etre like that...not like raisin, which doesn't exist.

- Ah oui.

Mar 2, 2006 Me
Mate, can you take off the fuck you comment? I've got family members reading this...

- It is done.

Mar 1, 2006 Cris & Ursula

Mar 1, 2006 Kenny
The Kingsmen- Louie Louie

- It's on the list. Great tune.

Feb 28, 2006 2 Sirisima
hey guys, the new songs sounds great - so good I'm willing to overlook the twockage of "Losing My Religion" from the songbook of sirisa. One thing though - it sounds like there's a miniature airplane buzzing around the background of "Saints" for a minute or so in the middle. :s::But in all other respects, wonderful as ever(feltlost)!

- That was actually Andy's
nerves audibly jangling.

Feb 24, 2006 Kenny
English Beat- Mirror in the Bathroom

- Who?

Feb 23, 2006 Jess
Arctic Monkeys did a very high quality, not taking the piss at all cover of Girls Aloud's 'Love Machine' on Radio 1 the other day. I challenge you to beat it ;o)

- High quality, non-piss-
taking covers are our
raisin dettre.

Feb 21, 2006 Piotrek
Hey guys! I really feel back on campus listening to your amazing tunes. Really impressive web presence, congratulations especially Ben!! It's already half past 2 a.m. so back to work and guys, be sure I will be following your progress - still thinking about becoming your manager, though, it depends on the contract, the work will be demanding... by the way, how was the birthday party (some more dirty facts please!). well and don't forget to play some french stuff, too. You shall be warned if you come to Paris!

- Come back any time you
crazed lunatic!

Feb 20, 2006 Andy's Dad
Talking of mug shots, I'm slightly concerned that my son appears to resemble Jeremy Clarkson somewhat more than somewhat. Ben do your stuff and I'll trade uke chords from WW2.

- Fine, fine, worst piccies
removed. Actually, worst
piccies were never on
here....

Feb 19, 2006 neil
Do you think I'm sexy - Rod Stewart?

- Not particularly....

Feb 19, 2006 Daff
Happy Birthday Andy

- And so say all of us.

Feb 17, 2006  Andy's Dad
Some ideas for future tracks; 'Blue Moon', 'Summer Time','Green Onions'and if you fancy a challenge, 'Take Five'.

- Challenge? CHALLENGE?

Feb 17, 2006 Tim (You know me)
I reckon you should go for something even more random than the things you've done so far - how about something like Puccini's Nessun Dorma? Or Rossini's William Tell Overture?

- We're not into prog rock.

Feb 16, 2006 Frankie
Nice Music. Try playing that Nsync song 'no strings attatched' Love F

- Hmmm, controversial.

16 Feb, 2006 Mari Lewis
Andy!!
THAT IS THE BEST WEBSITE I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE!!!!
I couldn't listen to the tracks because the computer I'm on is shit, but I'll have a listen as soon as I can. I can't wait!!
"Possibly the best idea in the world"
- Philosophy Today magazine
Your humble servant

Mari xxx

Feb 16, 2006  Mari 'Half Brain'

Feb 15, 2006 The Monkey God
The Welsh Mining Scum song

- No bumlove for you.

Feb 14, 2006 Siri
What do you mean normal guestbooks are boring? My ongoing war with the spammers is a source of constant amusement for me...

- Yeah, me too.

Feb 14, 2006 rumer miller
we will be milling your rumor! You guys are so cute! Catch ya later alligators! Now I'm gonna hit that shit!

Feb 14, 2006 Daff
It's coming along nicely

Feb 13, 2006 Isabelle
well i had no clue of what i would find on this mysterious website, the name of which was carelessly left on the board after my class... thought it had to do with some sort of religious propaganda -ever felt lost? come and find Jesus- but i'm happily surprised! i think i'm gonna find myself reading the blogs regularly and writing comments now and then, although my personal touch is already there - nice pictures, what about reproduction rights? stupid computer in the office can't play the tunes, but i'm sure they're brilliant! Anyway i get to hear them live... see u in a bit

- There are actually subliminal
quasi-religious messages in
the songs. Try listening
backwards.

Feb 13, 2006 Bamboo
Just procrastinating for a few minutes and thought of some tunes - before I forget them - How Deep is Your Love (Valentine's theme); Kula Shaker; Earth Song (think we can do MJs screaming bit with a penny-whistle), Jammin' - slaters

- He was drunk. Don't worry.

Feb 11, 2006 Daff
SHIT HOT SITE

- Hell yeah boy.

Feb 11, 2006 Steph Mayo
